Or if you have a private vehicle you can park in the urbanization of Cala Galdana) you can go to Cala Macarella walking about 45 minutes following a section of stage 13 of Camí de Cavalls (approx. 2.8km).
Traveler TIP: in high season months it’s advisable to get up early to access without large crowds as it is a very popular tourist destination on the island. It is also advisable to start walking first thing in the morning, since the heat is very intense and there are hardly any shadows.

Once there, we will have to walk along the Camí de Cavalls for 2 km (approx. 30 minutes) through one of the most beautiful landscapes on the north coast.

Son Bou beach
This impressive beach is located on the south coast of Menorca. With its white sand and crystal clear waters, it’s one of the most popular beaches and the longest on the island, with more than two kilometers of fine golden sand.

Access is not difficult at all. Whether you are going towards Mahón or towards Ciutadella, you can clearly see the indications of the town of Son Bou from the main road.
There is a free parking lot on the beach, although if you don’t get up early, during high season it is usually always full. But don’t worry, in the same urbanization of Son Bou you can park for free without problems.
Cala en Porter
Located on the south coast of Menorca, near Mahón, is Cala en Porter, a small beach located on a cliff over 30 meters high on the south coast of Menorca.
